  • Conference Room 4, United Nations HQ (New York) (map)

The event will showcase practical examples that demonstrate the value of a human rights-based approach (HRBA) to achieving SDG 6 and other related Goals, with a central focus on the role of the right to water and sanitation in building resilience. Government and civil society representatives will share the experiences in integrating international human rights standards and principles into national water and community resilience policies, with a deeper look into the situation in El Salvador.
