International Justice and the ICC
International Criminal Court Efficiency
The Issue
CDIL is committed to strengthening the international legal order, especially where it concerns the most heinous of crimes to the international community: war crimes, genocide, and crimes against humanity.
Our Role
CDIL works closely with other organizations, specifically the Coalition for the International Criminal Court (CICC), in the effort to monitor situations of note to the International Criminal Court (ICC) and advocate for all states to accept the Rome Statute of the ICC. Additionally, CDIL makes efforts to ensure the ICC itself is fair, independent, and accountable, and that justice for international crimes is of the foremost importance.
